At the annual Blue and Gold Banquet for Pack 36 in Dundee the Dundee Lions awarded four pack members the “Serving Communities Together Patch.” This is a patch designed by Lions Club International to recognize Scouts who have served along-side the Lions Club within the community. In 2014 the following Scouts have worked 3 or more Dundee Township Lions Club events. They were: Andrew Lea, Andrew Bober, Tyler Sugel, Sean Trznadel. Presenting the awards from the Lions were Mike Buhrmann on the left and Ernie Gammino on the far right. In addition The Lions presented the leaders of Pack 36 $1000 to support scouting and as a thank you for all of their hours in assisting the Lions during the Christmas tree sales. Mike Buhrmann, Lions Chairman for Christmas Tree sales said without the scouts and their leaders it would be impossible for the Lions to be successful with their largest fundraiser for charity.
